You won't regret going to see the Zelda symphony, Mark! Definitely worth every penny you pay, and then some :D . I've been twice now, and I'm hoping they'll come back to Toronto again for a third time (it's a long shot, I know, but one can dream) ;)

The symphony will be going on hiatus for 2014, but will be back "with something special" in 2015.

You guys are lucky. Things like this NEVER come to the prairies. :shakefist: and if they do, the nearest BIG city is a 3 hour drive.

Yep, I'm in line for merchandise as I type.
Aaaaaand, I got a T-Shirt. Cool thing is that people actually liked my Ocarina playing despite the super nervous messups. The staff asked me to come back out to the lobby to play for them. I played Pokemon music. XD

I had a great time! Here's some pics from last night's Chicago show.
From the street:

The crowd was very enthusiastic. A lot of people were in costumes, ranging from a simple Link hat, to full-blown Link and Zelda outfits. Of course I got lots of streetpass miis too

I bought tickets for the REPLAY Symphony of Heroes concert that was supposed to take place on Friday November 21 at Symphony Hall in Boston. One day before the concert, I found out that it had been rescheduled for February 27, 2015. Today, I received an email from Jason Michael Paul Productions inviting me to buy tickets for the Legend of Zelda Symphony of the Goddesses concert that is also supposed to take place at Symphony Hall on February 27, 2015.

So, I went to the Boston Symphony Orchestra website to check on upcoming events. To my surprise, I see a concert featuring music by Debussy, Brahms and Stravinsky conducted by Charles Dutoit that will also take place on Febrary 27, 2015. I somehow doubt that Symphony Hall in Boston is large enough to have three concerts taking place on the same day. I have contacted Jason Michael Paul Productions for an explanation and to request a refund for the November 21 concert that never took place. I'll keep you posted on what response I get from them. In the meantime, I urge everyone to use caution when dealing with JMP Productions. Something is fishy about this whole situation.

That really does sound strange. In any case, I'll be ordering tickets for the Toronto show when they're made available. I went the first 2 times they came to Toronto, it it was spectacular! Any other Ontarian TONians planning on going? :)

I would love to go to the Symphony of the Goddesses concert but after what happened when I paid for the Symphony of Heroes concert that was unexpectedly cancelled I don't want to risk losing more money. The JMP REPLAY website said "no refunds". How do I know I won't get stung again?

They cancelled the concert and didn't offer refunds? That sounds illegal to me.

I finally got an answer from Jason Michael Paul Productions. I left an email on their REPLAY website asking what they planned on doing for the customers who bought tickets to the Symphony of Heroes concert on November 21st only to find out it was cancelled.

They told me that refunds would be issued at the point of sale. Not really sure what that means. I bought my tickets online using a credit card. So, I sent an email today to the Boston Symphony Orchestra ticket sales dept asking them if it would be possible to get a refund for the cancelled concert. I'm still waiting to hear back from them. :B

I received a reply today from the BSO ticket sales dept. They said they would be issuing a refund to the credit card I used to play for the tickets. I'm getting my money back. :boogie:

Now, I have to think if I want to take a chance on buying tickets for the LOZ Symphony of Goddesses concert. It's being held on February 27 in Boston. I may not be able to get there if we get hit by a big snowstorm. :nope:

Try to see if you could get the tickets through Ticketmaster, if possible. I've emailed them before, last year while ordering my Zelda symphony tickets (they forgot to include the box for discount codes from Club Nintendo), and it was all sorted out between Ticketmaster and Nintendo within a couple days.

I went to the LOZ Symphony of the Goddesses concert at the Providence Performing Arts Center last night. It was great, hearing all the tunes I know so well from playing the games and practicing them on the ocarina.

After the concert, as I was walking back to my car, a Pedicab driver asked me if my Make It Rain shirt was from the LOZ. I said yes and he offered me a free ride to the parking lot because he thought it was the best Zelda shirt he had seen all night.

I picked up some nice merchandise at the concert. I got a piano score book and a Hylian Shield t-shirt. Definitely a wonderful night. :)

To all those lucky enough to go; You're in for one heck of a ride! And three encores! Also, if these are the concerts that sell the majora's mask shirts and posters, but them as soon as you are in there. My sister took me, and we got the last two shirts right after the show ended! Happy concerting! :)

I am worried that the 2/23/16 concert for Boston at Symphony Hall might get cancelled due to snow. They planned it around the same time last year in February and because we had one of the worst winters ever, the concert was cancelled. This winter is supposed to be even worse than last year. Boston had a record breaking 108 inches of snow last winter. It's hard to imagine how it could be worse. :(
