I wonder if it needs to acute bend? I kind of want one.

They've added a few glazes - banana spice and sky clouds - in addition to the other three (monsoon seas, red halo, and garden peacock).

The pendants, currently

And Jubal, I'm not sure if it's still called acute bend on pendants, but the higher notes (using the back holes) generally require you to cover part of the fipple with your lip...

There will be cake.
Are the Tenrais still airy on the high notes?

Eh..

They sound pretty solid to me, but the top few can be hard to get out.

Anybody tried their new 13 holes model?
I'm wondering the same thing. It sure is pricey.

I spoke to Akira a little bit about it, but he doesn't seem much interested in publicising the model, I understood that at the moment is "busy".

He told me that it's a low breath oc, slightly rising slope, "good for everything" and nothing more, in short it sounds a little generic as description.

I demanded a demo, if you are interested I'll publish here with his consent.

A demo would be nice. :) I'm sure there are other people who'd appreciate it as well.

Lots of new glazes (7, I think), with "red halo" and "monsoon seas" returning as well. Unfortunately, a lot of them look pretty plain... Well, still good to see that Tenrai's active, at least. Plus, I rather like "poppy fields". I note that they've made a slight change - it seems that they've started adding their maker mark to the underside of the mouthpiece, on the left. You can see it in the pictures,

So, does anyone have any experience with the 13 hole model? I had no idea that it existed until I started toying with the idea of a pendant a few days ago, which brought me to Tenrai's site.
