This has to be one of the earliest commercial ocarina recordings.

Mose Tapiero Ocarina solo with orchestra.

I was looking at the collection of old 78 records at Internet Archive, and noticed one with ocarina as a keyword.

Cool ocarinas were invented thousands of years ago and is one of the oldest wind instruments.
This depends how narrowly we define the word ocarina, doesn't it?
