I took some pictures, mostly to show off the strawfire pattern and give scale to the Cube case. Pictures! The one where the Oc is diagonal ontop of the Cube is to show the necessary orientation inside the case for it to be protected, if placed in a different way you can easily feel the pointed ends of the oc through the case with almost no padding between. |

Hurray!!!!! This just made me so much more excited, because I am going tomorrow to get the Double AC! Yay! Thanks for sharing pictures of the Cube. I have really been wondering lately about the scale of it lately. Maybe I'll get one tomorrow too. |

Your double AC is a real beauty. I love the light spots. Mine is rather dark (You can see it in the wikipedia article on the Ocarina). |

@Andy: The colours on mine are pretty much identical to yours, though the top of mine is almost all dark except for a sort of L shaped section that covers the 1st chamber ... I'll just take a photo. mine I quite enjoy that I got a nice dark one; there are some of the lighter ones that I find rather unappealing. |

Nice one! I've only had my two ocarinas for about two weeks (the same Songbird 4-hole as you, and a plastic Focaling SC) and already I want a ceramic 12-hole (the plastic doesn't sound all that great, I just wanted something cheap to develop a bit of skill on before parting with a substantial amount of money), and this exact double! Is it much more difficult to play than a regular 12-hole? |

You should be able to play the first chamber just as expertly. Switching chambers needs some practice, but is not hard. |

Ohhhh that's pretty. I like the darker ones too. Mine looks really pretty actually. Mine The right fingerhole-part is so dark, it's almost black. Seriously. |
