Holding the Dragontooth; i need help

So I got a dragontooth And I have litlle to no idea how to hold it i have a SG Focalink Transvese do i hold it like that

Ocarinist, Recorderist, Welder/Metalsmith, and resident wana-be Norseman.
The fingering is the same yes. Balance it so it is very slightly pointing downwards, and when you play high notes rest your right pointer finger on the center ridge with your thumbs next to the thumb holes, that should help you support it.

When I hit the high notes using the thumb holes i grip the end below the finger hole with my right pinky and ring finger to keep it from falling

David's demo shows a very good technique. I'm very much against the "clutch crutch" (wrapping pinky and ring finger around any oc). Even though some players use the clutch crutch it's very limited in regards to good finger facility.
