Ocarina Newb!
|
Recently i been noticing the the pitch on my Dragon Tooth Ocarina has been weird, i surmised its because the holes of the metal pin for the chain was abit too open and let air in and out like an extra fingering hole. so i did a test and sealed it with abit of wax and all was fine again. Then i noticed the pin inside the ocarina was slowly unbending out. I'm thinking of pulling the pin out completely and putting in a more solid chain link wire. Has any one run into the same prob and have done the same thing? I'm getting tired of poking inside of it and re bending the wire down, and i know eventually its a accident waiting to happen. |

lol, I'm a do it yourself person, and I've become attached to it. A new one sounds cool, but the process of sending it back would be more troublesome then the wire. |

O_O Definitely sounds like a repair is in order. If you want a new one (and you wouldn't wait that long for one either!), definitely contact Mr. Songbird. How are you putting in a new chain link wire? |

im not positive, but if you do something like that, and end up breaking it you cant replace it, cause its your fault. If you send it back now, though you can, cause its not. Personally id send it back |

I now use a thicker gauge wire for the chain that would take an elephant to snap! |
