Old topic - closed. -speckles- **My silly dialup connection won't load any other section... so suggestions/improvements it is! Is there a way to disable this function for a particular area? I just finished an update for my story and it auto merged my update. I think it might be annoying sometime in the future to scroll through a page that's 30 feet long... Perhaps you could post nothing, or just some dashes so that post merges, the post your proper post below that, so it doesn't merge, then delete the dashes from the post above by editing it? |

Does that work? I noticed that one of my posts in my original sheet music thread auto merged, but the next one didn't, but the one after that did again. So, is it every other?

Hah... or, it just occurred to me that I could split my own posts... yay mod powers?  But Turbo -- I'll keep an eye out for what you mentioned. Now that break's here I intend to dedicate a portion of everyday to updating my story!

ah.... I like the auto-merge! perhaps the mechanics of the auto-merge could be changed so the poster can choose whether or not to merge their posts? |
