Mountain's aluminum aren't discontinued. They just don't make as many of them as they used to, and when they are available, they go quick.

Here's my Mountain aluminum that I bought from them a few months ago.

I think they normally sell in the $100 range, but mine had a slight imperfection (which didn't affect the playing) and he sold it to me at a discount price.

Any pictured available of the pro range? :)
There is a video in which several "prototypes" are briefly displayed. Here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zugeb22WfnU

I had a phone conversation with Karl about 4 Months ago, to inquire about the aluminum C, which he informed may or may not come back into production. He then went on to explain that he is the one who oversees that Aluminum MOs production, and that he has halted that line for the foreseeable future, to work on the release of the prototypes.
Did anyone notice that video talking about the pro range is from 2008? :)

I'm glad I was able to get an aluminum from Karl.

Good to hear. The've been working on CODA for years, and MO currently doesn't have any ocarinas in stock - at least according to their website.
