Hey guys! Since the Christmas season has already begun(everyone's seemingly FORGOTTEN about Thanksgiving) I thought I'd go ahead and annouce the Christmas Contest! Bardock thanks you~~~  ~hmph! Do not!Rules: ~Must be a Christmas-y song ~Must be in a video or .mp3 format and sent to MEhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8pjSqU97JQ(<post as a response to that) Deadline: ~December 31st Not Accepting Any Entries Before: ~November 26th(Thanksgiving Day(US)) Prizes: 1st~2 free full-color drawings(NOT computerized) 2nd~1 free full-color drawing(NOT computerized) 3rd~2 free sketches All others~1 free sketch Bonus: ~Play a DB(DB/DBZ/DBGT/DBKai) song on your ocarina after your Christmas song(same video/mp3 please)!! ~Have a backtrack!! I am caught in a fix between 3 songs. Carol of Bells, Little Drummer Boy, and Last Christmas. I can play all three but its figuring out a db song to put in with one of them. |

lol I remember that. That was funny. The 3 baddies of the north pole. Santa Frosty, The Drummer Boy and The Nutcracker. "The Drummer Boy can conjure up spirits with his drum, the Nutcracker has over 300 ways of attacking the family jewels, and as for Santa Frosty he's half Santa half snowman. What's his power? I don't know but he just freaks me out." Ah, gotta love robot chicken. |

Don't worry Sarume. I can play the Carol of Bells on a 5 hole pendant. If I can do that then playing it on your ocarina wouldn't be a problem. Thus, the prize is set, the song chosen, now is the time to practice and master. We got a full month to prepare, I say bring it on. |

Does anyone here have a good, active youtube? I can't get enough views for my vids so my confidence in my playing is slipping...I don't care about negative criticism but being ignored is more hurtful than being told you aren't good. |

I do...but quite honestly, I don't get many views either.  Most people just don't look up people playing ocarinas. It's not YOUR fault, it's the world's fault(for shunning ocs like that do.  )

Yeah, I don't get many views. It's nice to have a little portfolio though, that you can add to when you want a break from normal playing. Don't think of it as being looked at much now, think of it as part of a way of making yourself good enough to have more followers.  I'll be sure to add some comments to your videos in the future, though. |
