I imagine the hole sizes would get pretty big at that point, so it would be much easier to play using keys.

He even claims that it's the world's smallest musical instrument, and I guess he's right. Link Speaking of wooden ocarinas, I'd guess B�rsljudet makes the smallest ocarinas, his micro-ocarina is 4,5 cm long and 1,6 cm wide.
