Unfortunately, I don't think Zetaboards has that option, at least not without creating a new member category (eg podcaster, mod, senior member). |

I really don't like the idea of giving special privileges to donators. If some people just can't afford it, or don't have PayPal  , it's not fair if they want to help TON, and perhaps do help TON through their posts, but don't get the same privileges. I don't think TON ought to discriminate against people based on how much money they have.If you want to help TON, and can, then donate. Your reward for donating to TON is helping TON, which if you're donating, should be something you want. TON's a better place than some forums because we don't give people privileges based on anything other than what they do on the forum, and for the most part, everyone is equal, except for in the amount of respect they have from other members. Respect is what will get your opinion heard on TON, and is TON's currency. I prefer it much more than having us donate $1 in order to get a special pip. |

I fully agree! Money indeed cannot buy respect, love, or loyalty. And if one tries, they will only buy themselves into deception and sorrows. This is completely off topic, but I just had to comment 'cause that sounded so much like something I would say

I updated the opening post of this topic to state our current donation level. Thanks to a recent donation by a generous contributor this month, we've gone from rock bottom to something Our Zeta premium subscription expires in October 2010, when we will need to make another advance payment (not sure of the exact figure, but it's not small). And I have to contact stevtomato about paying for our domain

A question like this could be better answered by a PM. however, the Ocarina in his avatar is what seems to be a Songbird pendant. Though he doesn't make them anymore, they can still be bought from some suppliers or off ebay. I saw some links to them somewhere but i forgot where. |
