I think that little ocarina's really cute, but...any idea how it would be played? Linear fingering, combination fingering, some fusion of the two...? Never really seen an eight-hole played. Six holes and nine holes, yeah, but not eight. |

I do like how the Solist doubles look...they kind of resemble a colored Focalink double. I already have a double in Alto C, and I've never heard the Solist ocarinas (singles or doubles) in action, so I can't judge very well. I haven't even heard very many opinions on this brand of ocarina either. I'm not sure if I want to get me a clay/ceramic from Solist until I see some video demonstrations of these ocarinas in action. But I do like how they look, the fact that they come in various colors, and the fact that they are fairly easy to obtain on eBay. Once I research the Solist and Bon ocarinas some more, I might considering adding one or 2 to my collection.

My WPN double AC has a hole under the second chamber. It too acts as an air hole, and makes the notes sound weird if I try to use it. |

I really like the look of both the Solist and Bon ocarinas. I'm thinking about getting some of the plastics for my cousins or my brother. I love the patterns of the doubles as well! |

Those are actually some pretty cute little micro sweet potatoes, and would make great necklaces that you can actually play, that still looks like a sweet potato.

I believe someone has probably ordered something from Bon' from the eBay store, though I don't think anyone has actually ordered from their site. They do look like good ocarinas. I'm not sure if they're great, but they look to at least be of a good quality, and they really have some beautiful and unique ocarinas. If you did get one, you could be the first to review one here! The Solist plastic is good, so I'm cure their lovely ceramics would be even better. |

I am looking to buy either a Solist or Bon ocarina for my brother and he said he liked the look of the them, but especially one of the Bon ocarinas. I'm not sure how completely he is interested, but I'm going to try to persuade him. Also, I've got an ebay coupon, that expires soon, so I figured that I'd use it for this. |

I have a Bon Alto C 12 hole transverse ceramic ocarina, but I'm still new at playing it so I'm not gonna post a vid right away. However, the notes are in tune(for the most part not sure about the 8th hole...could be me but it seems flat) and the tone is not too airy. (again airiness could be contributed to my noobness) Hope this provides some insight if only a little. Here is what I have... Spoiler: click to toggle

I'm really thinking of buying the Solist Black Gold Double AC, but I can't find how to order on their site at all!! If anyone speaks/reads Korean I'd love some help. If I have to I'll settle for the Blue standard double from eBay, but it is $35 more expensive from eBay and I'd prefer the black gold one. |

I belive your referring to the ebay username and store name I assure you it always has been Dreams-ctroo that ran the goodcorea shop that sells Solist, though it seems that another seller of solists HAS appeared. I will update the thread with link later, but as for now I SLEEP! |

Some of their Solist ocarinas look a bit over priced in the other eBay store... That said, I love how they call the seven-hole 'minis' 'Langleys'! |
