My plastic transverse soprano should be here soon from them. :D Ah, a pocket sized sweet potato that isn't ceramic and should sound decent! :D They look okay too! |

I just bought their AC plastic!  I based my purchase on Popzap's review and ubizmo's experience with his soprano one so I dont think I made a bad choice! Il probably have a sale soon.... |

The brand name is Solist. However, the plastic model seems to be referred to as 'Soloist' on the box it comes in. I think 'Soloist' refers only to that particular model. |

i just ordered a soprano plastic i'll let you know once i get it in EDIT: It just came in today and wow..for a plastic it sounds and plays really well!!..you can tell its plastic by the way it sounds, it doesn't resonate as well as ceramic ocs but the quality of it is excellent compared to any old plastic toy you'd get elsewhere..i'm definitely going to get their tenor plastic now Edited by aznpnoikoji, Jul 10 2009, 09:38 AM.

My opinion on this maker is this, if they make a good plastic, thier ceramics couldnt be worse, but i could be wrong. |

Goodness me, they have some beautiful ocarinas! I've fallen head-over-heels for this one, but I've only seen the white version on e-Bay, which I don't like as much, and I know I'll get cake or ice cream on within five minutes, ruining the crisp look. I'm quite keen on both kind of doubles, too, though I probably wouldn't buy until I've got more money, and have heard more about them. *Squeals* Just checked and they have the black Bon ocarina on e-Bay, from the seller I linked the white version from a few days ago. I'm almost certainly going to be nabbing one of these... Well... I hope so... If I can find the money, anyway! |

I was just looking at those, and they're really, really nice. Too bad I'm getting the Forte double at the same time as I'm getting a single from here - otherwise I might have picked one up. |

There is that site on ebay.com that sells Solist and Bon ocarinas. They don't sell that specific type at the moment, but you could always check in. I wouldn't be surprised if they started stocking it. |

I've yet to see one, so I don't think you'll be able to find one without sifting through a load of Korean websites. It might be worth checking their homepage, though last I checked I don't believe they had sound samples. There's a review of a single in the reviews section, though it appears very different to the double you mentioned. |

I like the fact that the Bons and Solists have the Japanese-style sub-holes, yet are still relatively inexpensive compared to the Maparams. Too bad that the eBay store seems to be selling mostly the Alto C's, as their Soprano G's and C's seem to be their more expensive models...I am talking their ceramic models. |

Ah! Their smoother doubles and basses look really nice and smooth! I would love that pendant, if I wanted to learn to play a pendant more... I might even buy one as a... Necklace, pendant. |

Hey, is there any difference between the Bon ocarinas and the Solist ocarinas, beyong the fact that they're 2 different brands under the same ownership? Is one the higher quality brand than the other? Do they play any better than the other? I only ask because I see more Bons in the eBay store than I see Solists. And the Solists seem to be either their plastic models or their higher-end ceramic models, leaving the Bons to fit in between them, price-wise. |
