Has anyone here had a chance to compare a Focalink forte double to the new ensemble series? (N) The chambers are supposed to be bigger than the standards, but do they blow about the same as a Forte?

Surprisingly not dead
The breath requirement on my Ensemble double is pretty comparable to my Night be Noble. It has relatively flat breath slope too, going into the second chamber... I don't think that's anything like a Forte would be.

Meh.

Agreed with Saki, the Ensemble is comparable to the Night by Noble. I'm comparing them side by side and the Ensemble seems slightly softer, with a cleaner tone. I used to have a "Focabird" Forte double with an outrageously strong second chamber and this Ensemble is nothing like it.

Thanks for your thoughts on that. I wish that Focalink went into a bit more detail on their website.
