I had an idea yesterday that would be cool. Somebody should write a forum anthem. I was thinking of something that sounds happy but not really giddy. Something proud like "Pomp and Circumstance" only a bit happier and more inspiring sounding. This idea really has no significance that I could think of but as long as we are getting mascots I thought it would be cute. Also who do you think should write it? Who's up for the challenge?

Hehe I viewed the results and it was 100% and I was like 'Whoa!' then I saw it was just my vote lol :P Yeah I think It's a fun idea  Something humorous and fun, though getting everyone to agree may be anohter matter entirely...

well I do have a composition which I'm happy to put up as a candidate if anyone likes it ..~ Veggie said he would fix it up for me (since my music theory isn't up to scratch). How is that as an idea :lol: (saves him from having to compose something new) Here is what I had... Ignore the slurs, and the beat's probably not completely correct, but at least the notes are there....? I came up with this song a long time ago, when I was in Junior highschool. I was trying to remember this anime song (sakura saku from Love Hina) off memory, because I remember really liking it and wanted to play it on my trumpet. But back then, I wasn't as technologically advanced, so couldn't find the file online, or hear the song again  So I tried to recreate it in my head from memory, and came up with this. Years later, I compare it with the original song I was trying to arrange, and they sound completely different :blink: Kinda reminds me of what someone did with Canon in D at TON

I like the song Kissing. I vote yes to an anthem and say we also need a flag, a motto, a plant, an animal, etc. haha :XD: Being serious, I do think an anthem is a good idea. |

Ahem, I think it's a good idea. But yeah, well, haha, duno what is happening with it. I'm not good at writing anthemy songs... It will either be too formal (like Country anthems) or too stupid =_= (like pop songs XD) I don't mind writing it. Sam, I give up on your piece, I can't harmonise it well enough XD last time I remembered I needed to change so many notes I didn't even bother doing it XD Oops |

Umm... Sure. I'll be on vacation starting on the 8th so I will be without internet for a week. People can start writing songs but I will decide a deadline sometime after that. Who knows? I might want to write a song too. |
