Does anyone know how easy it is to purchase Ocarinas from Noble without being able to understand Korean(they are Korean right?!)? I was looking on their site today and was amazed to see that their triple Ocarina is only $150!

I wonder how it sounds compared to the Osawa noble! *drool* That Osawa noble sounds fantastic but too pricey for me! Can anyone link me to a video? I have probably seen a video with their triple but don't remember.

I'm not buying this whole osawa thing... It seems like just a way to get some recignition and sales in the ocarina comunity. Personaly I don't think I'd ever spend that much money on an ocarina even if it were endorsed by all the big names in ocarina playing.

I have been in contact with them couple times. The president's (who you'll be talking to) english is quite bad, but still good enough to understand what he's saying.

They do export ocarinas, but the problem is paying for them. They only accept wire transfer and Letter of Credit (little complicate thing, but I think it's like wire transfer). I have suggested them to accept payment through PayPal but so far they don't seem to like the idea. Which is sad, because their ocarinas seem to be really good quality and the prices are crazy low. And Osawa Satoshi likes them and plays their ocarinas which, if nothing else, adds to the coolness factor. 8-)

But of course if many enough ppl nukes them with emails asking for PayPal... maybe they'll some day create a PayPal account. And with good enough luck they might even create english webpage to further help buying ocarinas from them. Their email address is jong8884@naver.com

And here's couple videos of Osawa Satoshi playing some of their ocarinas. Clicketh And look! They even have triple Alto G, Yes, a triple in G! (I think it's G, could F too) How awesome can that be? Watch the twilight.wmv video under that above link.

Also Noble is selling a plastic Alto C sweet potato which sounds really good. Video (skip the singing for another song being played with the same ocarina).

And lot's more videos of Noble ocarinas being played can be found from their web server. Link and my thread about it (it's old but maybe the mods won't kill you if you revive it).

EDIT: As I look closer, that Triple Alto G may not be made by Noble. It has different finish than Noble's ocarinas usually have. It has a "shiny" glaze on it, while Noble's are usually matte. Also on Noble's ocarinas both sub-holes are on right hand, while that triple ocarina has one sub-hole per hand. Any ideas or clues who the maker of that ocarina might be? Could be Icarus, but the Icarus ocarinas I have seen has that reddish glaze on them.

It's silvery too.... one of my favorite colors  Seriously, you guys are gonna make it hard for me to save up money to get a kiln if you keep posting Awesome(sauce) ocarinas like this!

I want the tiny one that Osawa played in his Funiculì, Funiculà video :fly:
But no Paypal... :dead:

They do good-looking cases as well...

Did anyone else see the giant ocarinas?! :omg:

Oh man they sound so good! I love seeing videos of ocarinas without zelda songs, not that zelda songs aren't good but I like to hear some other songs too... If they ever start using paypal and I feel that I've become good enough to play a double or triple then one of these will definately be on the list.

The ones with shiny finish are Icarus, aren't they?
Many of Noble's multi-chambered ocs are inspired by the Icarus designs.
