http://www.rareearthflutes.com/ "Cloud McCleod is from Austin, TX, and has studied classical flute from the age of 10. He performed with the Houston Symphony Orchestra as a high school student. After many years of teaching he found "the great spiritual accomplishment for me is to take God's good earth(clay) and fashion musical instruments with it." He now travels the world, personally bringing these finely tuned treasures to all, as he has been doing for the last 16 years." Youtube videos can be found here.

Wow, he has some fantastic ocarinas that blends the spiritual dimensions of the instrument with the music! From the descriptions, he seems quite witty, and his videos are fascinating

When I first looked, all videos had been viewed once or twice, there was no comments, and no feedback.

Topics like this that are about makers are ok to resurrect. We prefer that instead of making a new thread about them. The videos are also on his website, but are not immediately obvious. |

He has videos up, yes, but none I've seen with the clay flute. Of course they're sold out, I have no money for them, and I'm getting a Focalink double AC next, so I couldn't get one anyway, but still... |
