From what I understand: This is TON's Youtube account. The Ocarina Network - It's not used much. Maybe it has been forgotten about. You can subscribe to it just like any other Youtube account, but nothing is currently going on there. Maybe it can be used as a reward system for TON activities or TV Challenge participation.  This is TON's Youtube Group. The Ocarina Network Youtube Group - It can be used by all. Join, add your videos, and have discussions. |

The original purpose of the TON YouTube channel was to hold official contests and projects which haven't been realized yet. I am quite confident that we will use that account somehow in the future though. |

Oh? Do you have problems accessing it? If the link http://youtube.com/group/theocarinanetwork does not work, try http://www.youtube.com/groups_layout?name=theocarinanetwork. I don't have problems myself.

Your video is already the group's top rated one! Then again, it has only 3 votes. lol. =p I really like that you can have group-internal discussions of videos and that rating system. Seems really useful. All four "founding fathers" of TON are moderators of the YouTube group by the way, just to let you guys know.

I'm not sure I like this new format though  Where are the videos in order of time they were uploaded? I think this vote thing might make it harder for some peoples' videos to get attention

Sorry for gravedigging/necro-posting: I've just signed up to it. Would be nice to have a new challenge, I would suggest: Challenge: Try to mimic the song "Rejoice in the Sun" composed by "Peter Schickele" (and sung by "Joan Baez") on an ocarina as accurate as possible. Sheets/tabs can also join the contest, but performance will most likely have preference. |
