YES as long as you use the correct omniture + cover holes correctly  .and the actual color isn't like the website . . . he really should update that thing, lol XD but I'm VERY pleased with my new purchase

I bought a zelda replica from him a long time ago and I think it's pretty cool but since I wanna get away from the whole zelda merch thing I ordered 2 pendants, an alto celtic knot design and a soprano kokopelli design on the 28th of september and they were shipped on the 7th of october I believe. Still waiting for those, man I hope they get here tomorow but seeing as it said 4-10 days it may take till wednesday...I think. I sure hate waiting for the mail!  Especially because this is a birthday present and it's been like 25 days since my birthday. Plus I'm getting a clayz mini ocarina from my dad but he hasn't even ordered it yet but I won't say anything about that seeing as it's not a songbird.

Haha, mine's a birthday present too. Even tho my bday isnt til Nov 24. My songbird turned up yesterday. Took me about 2 hours to memorise which hole combinations matched up with what notes. Took me another hour and a half to find the first song that wasn't in my 6 hole's range... and another 5 minutes to find another... So I guess my only complaint is that 6 holes is not enough!!! Lol. Now I need an ocarina that can hit that high G and those low A's and B's... Edited by althalus, Oct 21 2008, 05:18 AM.

Ya that's the only problem I guess. I like songs with the low notes and every note on a small oc is going to be pretty high, that's why I'm getting an alto sweet potato well that and I just really like them. You lucky son of a gun mine still haven't come yet. If they aren't here by wednesday I'm taking yours!  Ok nvm they came so you don't have to worry about a ninja stealing or oc. So the new ocarinas I got were as I may have mentioned a soprano and alto pendant. I think they're pretty cool but I'm having a little bit of trouble playing them since I'm used to my songbird zelda replica and the fingerings are slightly different. They both sound pretty good and aren't airy at all but I would suggest wearing the neck cord while playing the soprano especially, because it's just so small you might drop it on a high note. Sometimes I blow a little too hard on it but I'll get it in no time I'm sure. So overall I'm quite happy with them and I would recomend them to anyone who likes a good pendant oc.

I went ahead and ordered one Also ordered the Soprano turtle, which has been on my to-buy list ever since I bought the Zelda XL. Plus the blue holster, the new Zelda songbook and a Soprano celtic with bag for my mum. She almost forced me to order XD j/k  I'm really curious about the Songbird OoT, I think I'll make a comparison video review with the Spencer once I get it and have gotten used to it. Oh I also put in the comments section of the order form a request for a quality check of the ocarinas before shipping. And a little note that I'd like ocs made by Darryn only... Perhaps an idea for future purchasers?

LMAO XD mhh popcorn *insert stomach growl soundeffect here* I was in doubt wether my budget would allow it this month, since last month was a bit of a spending spree. With the result of not only going through my savings buffer but also making a huge dent in this months income. Effectively I spent almost half this month, last month.  But in the end my mum convinced me to order anyway  Anywho, no moar ocarinas this month. Unless there's a Hello Kitty or a Panch ocarina that pops up for sale somewhere

I mean to e-mail him at songbird.com and not PM him. He checks his mail quite regularly, but comes here occasionally. I think we also prefer to keep business transactions in your own e-mail and not in the PM system. |

My Songbirds can has arrived and stuff. Weeeh I've been trying to play Sinterklaas liedjes by heart. Yeah that's a dutch holiday, so ya'll prolly don't know it. Anyways, my Songbirds sound and look great, so I guess that qualitycheck request worked out great for me. Too bad the package said 200 dollar value though, nearly 50 euros customs fees *OUCH* Anyways I'll be playing my new ocs for the coming week and then I'll attempt to make a video comparison review. Songbird vs Spencer, FIGHTO!!!
