Or even make it a closed vessel, cause this one is open ended. I would love to see Mr. Hind make a wishbone flute out of wood though. That would be the awesomeness imo. He does custom orders, but it'll cost big bucks. Who knows I might win the lottery XD

Well it is a 4 hole flute, but all the holes are the same size. I don't know the exact range of this flute. But I don't think it equals that of an english style 4 hole.

Darryn Songbird has put new ocarinas up on his site since the last time I had been there. He calls them sculpted ocarinas and they are basically sculpture art and an instrument. You can check them out at His website, they are in the bottom right on his menu. They look great, I wonder how they sound?

Interesting to see a popular maker producing such an original sweet potato design.

I did find a distributor at Harmon's Music Shop, and they have other Songbird products too, but I was reluctant to buy from anywhere other than the official website.
